Teaching Philosophy

I believe music is a deeply personal and expressive art form that helps us communicate feelings, spark creativity, and grow in confidence. My teaching approach is centered on nurturing each student’s unique musical voice, whether they are just beginning or returning to the piano later in life. I focus on building a strong foundation in technique and musicianship while encouraging joy, curiosity, and emotional connection to the music. Lessons are designed to be engaging, injury-free, and tailored to each student’s pace and goals, so that the learning process from practice to performance is both successful and fulfilling.
